Job summary

Close Brothers Group is seeking a governance and risk professional to lead monthly governance reporting and risk pack production for Retail governance forums. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to reflect the Retail risk profile and drive improvements in governance effectiveness.

The role focuses on risk analysis, MI development and support for regulatory requests, with a blend of governance oversight and people management in a hybrid UK environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of risk management, governance and control frameworks within financial services.
• Experience operating governance frameworks within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience producing executive-level governance reporting and management information.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate key messages clearly.
• Experience supporting risk committees, governance forums or similar oversight bodies.
• Experience presenting governance reporting and risk insight to senior leadership committees
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly production of governance reporting and risk packs for RRCC, CBMF, CBPF, Savings Risk Forum and other governance forums as required.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, complete, timely and reflects current risk and control performance.
• Coordinate inputs from business, risk and compliance stakeholders to reflect the Retail risk profile.
• Support governance forum operations via agenda planning, minute-taking, action tracking and meeting coordination.
• Support the reporting governance of Retail Quality Assurance teams and regulatory requests.
• Develop risk insights by analyzing data, dashboards and MI to aid oversight and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance governance processes, reporting methodologies and data quality.
• Ensure adherence to Governance and Compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
