Job summary

Funding Circle is seeking a Senior Data Product professional to lead data-driven product initiatives in our London team. You will own roadmap development, collaborate with data engineers, analytics engineers and stakeholders across risk, data science, commercial and BI functions to deliver high-value data products.

You will coach juniors, shape strategic data product development, translate business needs into actionable plans and champion data-driven decision making across the organization while

Qualifications

• Proven experience turning stakeholder goals into successful products.
• Experience managing a wide group of stakeholders across the business and prioritising work with engineering teams.
• Experience with data platforms (data warehouse / data lake) and collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts and BI teams.
• Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Be a senior member of the data product team, reporting into the Lead Data Product Manager, enabling Funding Circle to be data driven and to help grow our data maturity.
• Support and coach junior colleagues in data product management.
• Support Senior Data leaders with strategic development of Data Products at Funding Circle.
• Be a data champion, enabling the transformation of the way data is thought of and implemented at Funding Circle.
• Build a strong network of stakeholders within the business, understanding their objectives, translating them into a prioritised roadmap of work.
• Become an SME and take ownership of the OKRs and planning cycles of your domain.
• Work with engineers to help shape solutions that deliver value to our stakeholders.
• Act as a translator between product engineering teams producing data and reporting and analytics teams using data to align roadmaps and requirements.
• Work with the wider teams to maximise the value realised from our data using cutting edge data technologies.
