Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Resourcing Manager to lead a busy Employment Services Team. The role focuses on delivering a responsive, inclusive recruitment service across the Trust, through strong leadership, data-driven process improvements and adherence to NHS standards.

The post is full-time, predominantly office-based with some flexibility to work from home, operating Monday to Friday 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent senior recruitment/HR qualification.
• Postgraduate level study in HR, leadership, management or related field, or equivalentexperience.
• Ongoing professional development in recruitment, employment practice, leadership or service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a busy recruitment team with clear, supportive leadership.
• Use data and performance information to identify risks and improve processes.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with NHS Employment Check Standards and legislation.
• Provide specialist resourcing advice and influence senior leaders with briefing papers.
• Balance competing priorities and maintain a high-quality service under pressure.
