Job summary

Deloitte SR&T-A is seeking a Resource Manager in London to allocate staff to projects, manage scheduling, and optimise utilisation within the Resource Management team. You will liaise with senior leaders, line managers and industry teams to forecast demand and assign practitioners accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional services environment with comparable resourcing roles.
• Evidence of skill mapping e.g. CVs to appropriate roles.
• Experience dealing with a wide range of people at different levels.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Logistics background.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel and ideally PowerPoint.
• Proactive, creative problem solving in a high pressure environment.
• Numerate and well organised.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Conscientious and diligent approach to work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Sensitivity to confidential information and risk management considerations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage senior leaders to understand evolving resource needs and translate them into assignments.
• Strategically assign practitioners to projects and communicate allocations clearly.
• Collaborate with RM Partners, HR and operations to improve service delivery and schedule accuracy.
• Become a subject matter expert in STAFFIT and champion its weekly utilisation.
• Maintain data integrity in STAFFIT and reflect current allocation status.
• Provide timely reports on resource availability and utilisation for leadership decisions.
