Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Bracknell is seeking a data-driven Residual Value Analyst to own RV topics for a group of countries. You will forecast residual values, set pricing reserves for remarketing, and evaluate new-vehicle deals for in-fleeting, delivering insights to senior stakeholders.

The role combines hands-on data analysis with regular reporting and presentation to the RV Manager, working across Remarketing, Procurement and Finance teams. Hybrid working regime applies.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in residual values, pricing, remarketing or fleet analytics.
• Strong understanding of RV concepts and depreciation.
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI or SQL is a plus.
• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain residual value forecasts for assigned countries.
• Set pricing reserves for remarketing and balance recovery value with disposal speed.
• Evaluate deals for new vehicles proposed for in-fleeting with RV analysis.
• Analyse local used-vehicle trends, OEM incentives, and macro indicators.
• Collaborate with Remarketing, Procurement and Fleet Planning teams.
• Monitor fleet timing to optimise RV realization across channels.
• Prepare country-level RV reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Escalate model issues and feed market intelligence to refine methodology.
• Track EV residual value trends amidst regulatory changes.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and build business cases as needed.
• Benchmark RV performance against external data providers.
