Job summary

Ticket Tailor is hiring a Platform Engineer to own and evolve our production infrastructure in a hybrid-remote setup. You will manage services from MySQL/Aurora to ECS, with Terraform as code and Cloudflare for edge delivery.

You'll work with a small team of Platform Engineers, embracing AI-enabled tooling to speed delivery while keeping systems robust, secure, and scalable. Hybrid role with two office days in Hackney.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS production infrastructure ownership across multiple services.
• Infrastructure as code as default with Terraform experience.
• Deep relational DB knowledge: migrations, failovers, performance.
• Production containerisation experience.
• Interest in AI-native tooling and evolving workflows.
• Ability to design robust, scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain infrastructure from MySQL to ECS, managed as code in Terraform.
• Propose tooling improvements and own their delivery.
• Support reliability and observability with Datadog.
• Handle migrations, upgrades, incidents, and production troubleshooting.
• Leverage AI tools to improve impact and efficiency.
• Contribute to simple, well-architected infrastructure decisions.
