Job summary

Ebury in London is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our team. You will partner with multiple development teams to accelerate value delivery, scale our systems, and build a foundation that empowers our engineering organization to thrive.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Terraform, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and Python, plus experience deploying containerized services with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Containerization with Kubernetes and/or AWS ECS/EKS.
• Proactive problem solving and collaboration with code owners.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate delivery by partnering with development teams to improve deployment speed and scalability.
• Maintain platform health with high availability, performance and resilience across production.
• Design and implement new services and infrastructure systems.
• Develop observability, monitoring, and alerting to gain deep insights into system health.
• Automate tooling to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation to troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents.
• Stay current with cloud-native practices and platform engineering trends.
