Job summary

Ticket Tailor is building a new payments product and is hiring two Payment Product Engineers to shape the engineering core of this initiative. You will own the end-to-end design of payments, from problem understanding to delivering modular, high-quality services, collaborating with a small team and architects to align with product goals.

You’ll work in a hybrid-remote setup with two in-office days at Hackney, contributing to a customer-first, security-minded engineering culture and leveraging

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of payment systems evidenced by work building high-scale, secure payment integrations.
• Awareness of PCI DSS and what building to that standard demands.
• Experience working in a product team alongside Product Managers.
• Drive to work in an AI-native way—curious and adaptable to evolving tools.
• Fluency amplifying impact through AI and agentic engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Build the new payments product while extending existing payment integrations, ensuring security and high-volume handling.
• Measure impact through customer signals and iterate based on what the data shows.
• Maintain high quality and align with architectural vision and product principles.
• Collaborate closely within the team: pairing, unblocking, reviewing, and giving/receiving feedback.
• Leverage AI tools creatively to amplify team impact and explore new approaches.
