Job summary

Ticket Tailor is launching a new payments product and hiring two Payment Product Engineers to form the engineering core. You’ll own greenfield work and extend existing integrations, collaborating with a PM, architects, and design leadership.

This is a small, empowered team with significant ownership and impact across the platform. You’ll apply payment-system design expertise, prioritize customer impact, and leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and quality.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of payment systems, with high-scale, secure pay integrations.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS requirements and how to build to that standard.
• Experience working in a product team alongside Product Managers.
• Interest in AI-native ways of working and adapting to evolving tools.
• Experience mentoring or leading within a team.

Responsibilities

• Build our new payments product while extending existing payment integrations.
• Collaborate in a small team to shape architecture and product direction.
• Use AI tools to improve quality, speed, and impact for customers.
• Design maintainable services with clear separation of concerns.
• Own delivery from problem understanding to shipping high-value blocks.
