Deutsche Bank in London is seeking a Senior Java Engineer for Fixed Income Pricing and Analytics to help build a next-generation, real-time pricing and analytics platform. You will work in cross-functional squads delivering low-latency Java services for Rates and Credit pricing and risk workflows.

The role emphasizes modern cloud-native engineering, Agile delivery, and strong collaboration with traders and quants.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Java development with concurrency, memory management and reactive programming.
• Experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build real-time, low-latency Java services for Rates and Credit pricing, axes, risk and analytics workflows.
• Break down complex legacy landscape into incremental deliverables using Agile methods.
• Collaborate with traders, quants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-impact features.
• Design end-to-end solutions with front-end engineers, including streaming APIs for real-time UIs.
• Lead code reviews, testing, CI/CD and observability with ownership from design to production.
• Influence platform direction, mentor engineers and promote modern tools and AI-assisted development.
