Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join our London and South East Cost Management team. You will deliver cost management across project lifecycles for a varied portfolio and build trusted client relationships.

Hybrid working across offices in London, Tunbridge Wells, Epsom and Oxford, with a clear path to Senior QS/Cost Manager as you progress toward MRICS. You will work with Senior Cost Managers and Directors on smaller commissions and larger projects,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quantity surveying or cost management in consultancy, client-side or contracting environments.
• Sound understanding of pre-contract and post-contract cost management with practical cost plans and reports.
• Working knowledge of UK contracts (JCT/NEC).
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver QS and cost management services across all project lifecycle stages including feasibility, estimates, cost plans, cash flows and value management.
• Prepare and review measurements, bills of quantities, schedules of work and tender documents; support procurement and tender processes.
• Manage project costs during delivery including valuations, forecasting, change control and final accounts; provide contract administration support (JCT/NEC).
• Identify risks, opportunities and key cost drivers; attend client/consultant/contractor meetings; collaborate with project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop client relationships, support bids and business development, and mentor junior colleagues.
