Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in London is recruiting a Hybrid Quantity Surveyor to oversee fit out and refurbishment projects, with a focus on banking/financial sector work. You will manage multiple live schemes, procure subcontractors, prepare payments, valuations, forecasts and cost reporting.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, detailed cost control and client liaison skills, with experience in subcontractor variations and final accounts. A related degree or HNC/HND is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying / Commercial role.
• Experience on commercial fit out projects, preferably banking/financial sector.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of multiple live fit out and refurbishment projects.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Preparation and submission of applications for payment.
• Monthly valuations, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Management of variations, valuations and change control.
• Preparation and agreement of final accounts.
• Subcontractor payment and account management.
• Client liaison and commercial reporting.
• Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance.
• Supporting the wider commercial team with procurement, cost control and financial reporting.
