Job summary

MYC Group seeks a Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor for a high-end residential project in Central London. You will be on-site, supporting commercial management from inception to completion, estimating costs, monitoring budgets, and reporting variances.

You will evaluate quotations, manage variations, and assist contract administration to ensure value for money and profitability while coordinating with project teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience on residential, fit-out, hospitality or high-end construction projects.
• Strong subcontract procurement, tender analysis and package management experience.
• Experience pricing CAIs, variations, change orders, and abortive works.
• Experience in cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and budget control.
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement, valuations, and final account.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and UK construction commercial practices.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience on prime or super-prime residential projects advantageous.
• Competence in MS Excel and Bluebeam Revu.

The Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor will work on-site high-end residential project in Central London Zone 1 in a full-time capacity, supporting the commercial management of interior fit-out projects from inception to completion.

Day-to-day responsibilities include estimating project costs, monitoring budgets, and ensuring accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves evaluating contractor quotations, managing variations and claims, and supporting contract administration to maintain cost efficiency and value for money.

The Fit-Out Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and suppliers to align financial planning with technical requirements and program timelines, while helping to optimize profitability and mitigate risk.

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential, fit‑out, hospitality, or high‑end construction projects.
• Strong subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and package management experience.
