Job summary

Castle Trust Bank in Basingstoke is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Operational Risk Specialist to join our First Line of Defence. You will help ensure operational processes deliver consistent customer outcomes, identify risks early and support remediation through data-led oversight.

Working with Operations, Risk and Compliance, you will analyze data, produce management information, and drive continuous improvement across QA and risk controls to protect customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA, Operational Risk or Risk & Control in regulated environments.
• Experience in FCA regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of processes, controls and risk management.
• Ability to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience producing management information and reporting.
• Analytical and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA reviews of operational processes using defined methodologies.
• Assess calls, cases and processes for customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Identify trends and emerging risks from QA findings.
• Support incident logging, RCA, remediation tracking and governance activities.
• Provide governance reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk and Compliance teams.
