Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a super-sharp Test Engineer to join Agile teams in London on a hybrid model (office/remote). You will deliver high-quality testing services, work closely with developers and the product owner, and gain deep product understanding to drive effective testing across scripted, exploratory, regression, and integration tests.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, with security clearance arising from screening.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a tester.
• Ability to write efficient manual tests.
• Strong interest in IT and software development.
• Experience with Ubuntu or Linux distributions.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Xray).
• Comfortable using command line tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Debug / troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the product and system under test.
• Design, write, and maintain automated and manual test cases.
• Execute test plans including scripted, exploratory, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile processes like sprint planning and reviews to ensure quality integration.
• Evaluate test results, document defects, and report status to the team.
