Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing across the ESN transition for the Emergency Services Network. You will plan, execute and oversee system, integration and non-functional testing in a multi-supplier environment, ensuring security and performance.

Hybrid work with a customer site in Hursley and a Leonardo office in Southampton. You will mentor testers and drive test automation while coordinating with Home Office and partners to deliver a mission-critical national

Qualifications

• Experience creating, executing and maintaining structured test plans and test evidence.
• Proven ability to deliver system, integration and non-functional testing in complex projects.
• Experience working in multi-supplier delivery environments and coordinating testing across organisations.
• Proficiency with defect management and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, TestRail or Zephyr).
• Knowledge of non-functional testing disciplines including security, performance and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of test work packages, including scope and schedules.
• Represent the test function in a multi-supplier delivery environment with customers and partners.
• Plan and execute multi-party test activities with Home Office, customers and third-party suppliers.
• Support interoperability and interface testing across distributed systems with multiple platforms.
• Contribute to non-functional testing (security, performance, reliability, usability).
• Mentor and guide Test Engineers, reviewing test deliverables for quality and governance.
