Job summary

Leonardo UK seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Surveillance & Protection Technologies division in Luton. You will contribute to ensuring safety, cost and quality standards are met on time across high-profile programmes.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001, strong analytical skills, and experience with quality tools; you will work with cross-functional teams and attend IPT/regulatory meetings while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality management standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action and quality tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
• Help deliver products meeting safety, cost and quality standards on time.
• Support Project Assurance Plans to align activities with risk goals.
• Collaborate with Assurance Teams to meet programme and IPT objectives.
• Monitor quality KPIs such as PQs, MRB and FRB; support improvements.
• Prepare reports for Programme and Project teams; participate in key meetings.
• Contribute to reducing non-conformance costs through root cause analysis.
