PSC Consulting seeks a Protection & Control Engineer with 3–5 years’ experience to work on renewable energy and grid projects in the UK and internationally. You’ll design protection schemes, set relays, and perform power system studies while collaborating with senior consultants and clients.

You will develop expertise in RMS/EMT/harmonic studies and related power system analyses, contributing to project delivery and innovation within a global team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Protection & Control experience in HV transmission/distribution.
• Experience in protection design for high voltage networks, relay settings, and scheme design.
• Knowledge of power system analysis, fault studies, and protection theory.
• Strong client-facing, teamwork, and flexible project work.
• Experience with study software and power system tools (PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD, IPSA).

Responsabilités

• Perform power system analysis, generator connection studies, and protection setting schedules.
• Conduct grading studies and contribute to conceptual and detailed design.
• Provide commissioning support, fault investigations, and specialist consultancy services.
• Engage with clients, deliver high-quality technical solutions, and present findings.
