Job summary

Willmott Dixon is seeking a Proposals Manager to lead the development of high-quality bid submissions for the Construction South team. The role involves coordinating with project managers and subject-matter experts to craft compelling responses, ensure the bid process is followed, and shape proposals for winning bids.

You will work flexibly from home and from Weybridge or Southampton offices, bringing strong bid writing/editing experience, InDesign expertise, and knowledge of Adobe Suite to

Qualifications

• Experience in bid writing and editing for large-scale projects.
• Ability to lead the creation of written responses to win bids.
• Knowledge/experience with Adobe InDesign and the Adobe Suite.
• Experience working in the construction sector.
• Desirable exposure to DfE tendering (CF25).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of quality bid submissions with bid managers and SMEs.
• Shape proposals with technical input to meet customer drivers.
• Ensure formal bid process is followed and provide process improvement recommendations.
• Write and edit bid responses to be persuasive and clear.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to visually convey offers.
• Create clear customer presentations and contribute creative bid ideas.
