Job summary

Spabreaks.com is seeking a Project/Product Manager to own the design, ticketing, and build of a new back office system for managing bookings and availability on our marketplace. This is a 12-month fixed-term project where you will translate business needs into clear requirements and coordinate design and engineering through to launch.

You will gather input from operations, commercial and customer service, write precise user stories, and manage the backlog and UAT to ensure a smooth rollout

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering internal tools or back-office systems, ideally in a marketplace, travel, or booking context.
• Strong ability to write clear tickets and specs for engineers and designers.
• Experience with availability/inventory or scheduling systems is a strong plus.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
• Familiar with agile delivery tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and translating technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the back-office system from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Gather and prioritise requirements from internal stakeholders (ops, commercial, customer service).
• Translate requirements into well-specified tickets (user stories, acceptance criteria) for design and engineering.
• Manage the build backlog day-to-day: prioritisation, sprint planning, unblocking the team.
• Coordinate UAT and rollout, including data migration from existing tools.
