Job summary

Southern Water in Worthing is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects within our AMP programme, delivering initiatives from initiation to completion while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, sustainable delivery.

You should have a track record of delivering planned projects in utilities or infrastructure, strong planning and budgeting skills, and the ability to report progress, risks, and milestones to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned projects within a utility, infrastructure, construction, or engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and key milestones.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Foster collaboration between internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates, forecasts, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with governance, health and safety, and business requirements.
• Work closely with Senior Project Managers and Programme Managers to support successful programme delivery.
