Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Project Engineer (Civil Engineering) to support a major infrastructure programme. The role is hybrid with four days in the Birmingham Snow Hill office and occasional site travel.

The salary package ranges from £55,500 to £65,600 with a 12% pension and career development opportunities. You will work across bridges, viaducts, earthworks and highway diversions, coordinating technical information with contractors and designers, and supporting

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in design coordination, technical assurance or handover.
• Experience on infrastructure projects such as bridges, earthworks or highways.

Responsibilities

• Support a Senior Project Engineer across civil assets and work packages.
• Coordinate technical queries and information between contractors, designers and experts.
• Review design and construction evidence against project requirements.
• Assist assurance reviews and handover documentation to railway systems teams.
• Attend risk reviews and coordinate input from technical specialists.
• Support CDM activities and health and safety file preparation.
