Critical Project Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Project Engineer for civil engineering major projects. You will work with a Senior Project Engineer on HS2-scale civil scope, ensuring design and construction assets pass assurance gates and hand over to rail systems teams.

You will verify technical evidence, coordinate across stakeholders, and manage CDM risk while guiding design solutions with best practice. Hybrid work arrangement in the Birmingham area.

Qualifications

• Background in civil engineering with experience on major projects or programmes where standards management, technical assurance and safety were core.
• Ability to gather and assess technical information and communicate findings clearly to contractors and stakeholders.
• Understanding of UK construction regulations, including CDM, with commercial awareness to operate in an integrated programme.

Responsabilités

• Verify technical evidence produced by designers and contractors; ensure it meets requirements and passes assurance stages.
• Support technical assurance reviews and carry out spot-checks on contractor deliverables.
• Manage CDM risk within delegated authority under CDM Regulations 2015.
