Job summary

Reed in Aberdeen is seeking a Project Coordinator / Freight Forwarder to manage end-to-end shipments, coordinating air, sea and road freight for international and domestic projects. The role is based in Aberdeen with hybrid working options after training.

You will liaise with customers, suppliers, carriers and customs authorities to deliver timely logistics solutions, maintain records, and ensure compliance with regulations. A strong focus on accuracy and proactive communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, shipping, transportation, import/export, or supply chain operations.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations for domestic and international freight shipments.
• Coordinate air, sea, and road freight movements worldwide.
• Arrange cargo collections, transportation, consolidation, and delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments and ensure schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
