Leonardo UK is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Yeovil team, supporting the Senior Project Accountant in the financial management of long-term contracts. You will provide financial guidance to programme leadership, ensuring robust controls, accurate budgeting, forecasting and IFRS-compliant reporting.

Key duties include monthly reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting for major contracts; participate in IPTs, deliver contract forecasts and month-end postings in SAP; coordinate with

Qualifications

• Degree or qualified by experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and good business sense.
• Ability to communicate effectively across levels within the company and with customers/partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP reporting tools; SAP experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting for major, long-term contracts.
• Represent Finance within IPTs, providing financial insight and robust control.
• Manage contract forecasts, cash forecasting, and P&L/Balance Sheet items related to contracts.
• Ensure timely month-end postings in SAP and IFRS-compliant reporting.
• Coordinate with teams in Italy to maintain reporting consistency and support audits.
