Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Yeovil is seeking a Project Accountant to support the Senior Project Accountant in financial management of major contracts. You will provide financial guidance, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting under IFRS, with responsibility for contract cost to complete, cash forecasting, and P&L/Balance Sheet items within SAP.

You will work with the Programme IPT, interact with Italian colleagues for financial consistency, and support annual budgets, risk, and opportunities tracking.

Qualifications

• Experience for this role depending on qualification or experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate across levels within the company.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP and reporting tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial guidance and robust controls for long term contracts.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, forecasts and budgets in line with IFRS.
• Maintain contract cost to complete schedules and cash forecasts.
• Post monthly cost and revenue journals in SAP and ensure accuracy of program position.
• Collaborate with IPTs and cross functional teams to support governance and decision making.
