Job summary

Allstate Northern Ireland Limited is seeking Product Security Engineers (multiple levels) for a hybrid role in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry. You will design, build, and operate enterprise security controls embedded into our software ecosystems, owning them end-to-end from architecture to production support.

You will apply engineering best practices, contribute to scalable distributed systems, and collaborate with product teams to ensure secure-by-default outcomes while enabling rapid, reliable

Qualifications

• Experience with agile delivery models and secure software development
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed systems
• Knowledge of API design and backend services
• Familiarity with modern dev workflows and CI/CD practices
• Experience in cloud native environments and microservices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products integrated into the SDLC
• Own security control capabilities end-to-end including architecture and deployment
• Write, test, and maintain production code with reliability targets
• Apply test-driven development, paired programming, and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with product managers and platform teams to align security with enterprise needs
