Job summary

Allstate NI is seeking a Product Security Engineer to design, build, and operate enterprise security controls embedded into the SDLC and core enterprise platforms. You will own the full software development lifecycle—from design and implementation through deployment and production support.

You will collaborate with product managers, platform teams, and partner engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions, applying best practices like TDD and CI/CD while evaluating new technologies to reduce

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production systems
• Full software development lifecycle experience from design to deployment
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
• Experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed systems and cloud-based apps
• Experience integrating REST-based APIs and backend services
• Familiarity with test-driven development, paired programming, and CI/CD
• Experience collaborating within agile delivery models

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise security controls as software products
• Own security control capabilities end-to-end from architecture to production support
• Write, test, and maintain high-quality production code
• Apply engineering best practices such as TDD, paired programming, and CI/CD
• Contribute to system and component designs with focus on scalability and security
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve security controls
• Collaborate with product managers, platform teams, and partner engineering groups
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts
