Five Rivers Environmental Contracting Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Assistant / Buyer to join the Pre-Construction team. You’ll secure materials, plant, equipment and subcontractors at the right price and time, raising purchase orders and coordinating with project teams.

This hybrid role is based at Codford, Wiltshire, offering up to £32,000 depending on experience, 37.5 hours per week, with 33 days leave, a health plan and development opportunities.

Qualificações

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or a similar admin role.
• Experience in construction, civils or contracting (desirable).
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Confidence talking to suppliers and negotiating prices.
• Ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
• Team player who enjoys working with lots of different people.

Responsabilidades

• Get quotes for materials, plant, equipment and subcontractor services.
• Compare quotes on price, quality, lead times and terms, and recommend the best option.
• Raise and manage accurate purchase orders in line with company procedures.
• Handle supplier enquiries and routine price negotiations.
• Help onboard new suppliers and subcontractors and keep our approved supplier list up to date.
• Keep procurement records organised and up to date.
• Attend project meetings and keep Project Managers, Site Managers, QSs and Estimators updated.
