Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Procurement Lead in Birmingham with hybrid working and a 37-hour week to drive procurement excellence across our water tech division. You will manage supplier performance, build strong relationships, and coordinate with logistics and sales teams to meet customer orders.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing, strong negotiation, and analytical skills. Benefits include 25 days leave, pension and private GP access, with visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing role, including quality and operational experience.
• Strong procurement knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade B or equivalent; data analysis literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support two procurement administrators to deliver procurement excellence.
• Create purchase orders using Latis MRP system for standard sales.
• Liaise with logistics, Sales Administration, Engineering Scheduling and 3PL.
• Ensure on-time delivery by following up with suppliers.
• Identify supply risks and seek alternative sources.
• Coordinate direct-to-site deliveries with the Logistics team.
