Job summary

Co-op Legal Services, part of the Co-op Group, is recruiting solicitors/fee earners to join our specialist probate team at various levels. The role handles a varied caseload of probate matters from start to finish, with a client-focused approach and AI-enabled processes, while offering hybrid working between home and offices in Manchester, Sheffield, Bristol, or Stratford-upon-Avon.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or legal executive with probate experience.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload.
• Strong client-relations skills and remote communication.

Responsibilities

• Own caseload of probate cases varying in complexity end to end using a case management system and AI tools.
• Use our case management system to ensure information is recorded accurately.
• Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email.
• Collaborate with the team to continually develop legal skills; administrative support provided.
• Mentor more junior members of the team using your legal knowledge.
