Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Private Cloud Platform, shaping the future of our cloud network through automation, security and resilience. You will design, build and evolve network technologies to support scalable services across our hybrid environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with NSX, VXLAN, ACI and BGP, plus cloud familiarity (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). You will collaborate with engineers, product teams and senior stakeholders to deliver secure,

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Network Engineer with cloud environment expertise.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies and services (NSX, VXLAN, ACI, BGP).
Experience writing technical design documents and supporting networks in cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build and evolve network technologies for LloydsPrivate Cloud.
Collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to deliver secure, high-performing network services.
Champion automation, security and reliability in infrastructure-as-code workflows.
Participate in an escalation on-call rota as required.
