Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is hiring a Private Cloud – Network Engineer in Manchester/Leeds. The role focuses on designing, building and evolving network technologies for the private cloud, with automation-led delivery and security at the forefront.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to enable scalable, secure network services across cloud platforms, while embracing an agile, on-call rotation as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with cloud-environment expertise.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies and services (NSX, VXLAN, ACI, BGP).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with network tools.
• Experience in writing technical design documents.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve network technologies underpinning Lloyds Cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to deliver secure, scalable services.
• Drive infrastructure modernisation with automation, security and reliability.
• Contribute to risk and security initiatives and share expertise across the team.
• Operate in an agile environment with hands-on delivery of cloud and network services.
