Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Architect to lead design for large, multi-disciplinary projects across the UK and Europe, with a focus on infrastructure and data-centre style work.

You will coordinate architecture and engineering teams, manage design information through all RIBA Stages, ensure governance and quality, and mentor junior staff. ARB registration and strong CAD/MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Architect with ARB registration.
• Degree in architecture, Diploma or Masters preferred.
• Experience with UK Building Systems, standards and regulations.
• Proficient CAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead designer within multi-disciplinary teams across projects.
• Coordinate design with architectural and engineering leads.
• Ensure governance at bid and delivery stages.
• Present to clients and prospective clients.
• Oversee design information and ensure quality and compliance.
• Support fee proposals and bids; monitor hours.
