Job summary

AECOM in the UK is seeking a Principal Architect to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large data centre and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate architectural and engineering outputs, manage design information across RIBA stages, and ensure quality, compliance and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong technical design content with CSA bias, design management, and experience mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified architect with ARB registration and infrastructure design experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams on large projects.
• Knowledge of UK Building Systems, Standards and Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead designer within a multi-disciplinary team and coordinate outputs.
• Ensure governance at bid stage and during delivery.
• Review and approve design information and liaise with discipline leads.
• Mentor junior staff and manage design budgets and resources.
