Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer based at Hattersley with hybrid working available. You will travel between client offices in Warrington and project sites, delivering superior design services for water and sewage facilities.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary designs, maintain contract records, and mentor staff while ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are met. The role reports to the Civil Regional Discipline Lead and aims to minimise risks and maximise

Qualifications

• Membership of a professional institution or chartered/incorporated or nearing chartership.
• Minimum: Civil Engineer HND.
• Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts.
• Good knowledge of water treatment, including mechanical, process and electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Produce cost effective design layouts that are constructible and commissionable.
• Coordinate designs with all disciplines internal and external to MWHT.
• Maintain files and records for contracts.
• Provide estimates and feedback for Proposals.
• Supervise and develop staff; ensure safe working environment.
• Ensure designs meet health, safety and environmental requirements.
