MWH Treatment is seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design activities across UK water and wastewater projects. Hybrid working is available, with regular site attendance expected.

You will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, translate complex requirements into robust, compliant designs, and help shape project delivery while mentoring engineers.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of complex electrical engineering designs within the water and wastewater sector.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop innovative, practical and risk-balanced engineering solutions.
• Ensure all electrical designs are safe, sustainable, compliant, buildable and cost-effective.
• Produce, review and approve electrical calculations, specifications, reports, drawings and design documentation.
• Support major project bids and contribute to successful project delivery strategies.
• Act as a technical reviewer and maintain high standards of engineering governance and quality assurance.
• Manage technical delivery from high-level project briefs, balancing programme, cost, quality and resource requirements.
• Identify, assess and manage technical risks, ensuring issues are addressed proactively.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Support and mentor engineers and designers, helping to develop technical capability across the business.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, customer focus and engineering excellence.
