Job summary

Kier Group's Building Solutions South team in London is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join in a hybrid role based in London/South. You will lead Pre-Construction activities and guide teams across bids to delivery.

You will coordinate with governance, commercial, estimating, planning and design management, manage client relationships, and identify risks to de-risk projects up to £20m within construction and refurbishment schemes.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and CSCS Card.
• HNC/HND/Degree in construction or engineering or membership of CIOB, APM, CIAT, RICS.
• Previous Pre-Construction experience on projects up to £20m.
• Proven record of successful multi-project delivery through skilled teams.
• Strong teamwork, communication, time management, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Pre-Construction activities from tender to handover.
• Collaborate with governance, commercial, estimating, planning, and design management to meet milestones.
• Engage with clients to instil confidence and manage relationships.
• Identify risks and mitigation measures to de-risk Pre-Construction.
• Manage workload of the Pre-Construction team for balance and wellbeing.
