Job summary

Mace, a leading construction and consultancy firm, is seeking an IPC lead planner for the Hinkley Point C project in the UK. You’ll manage Level 2/4 IWS schedules in Primavera P6, align with Level 3 contracts, and provide time data to support timely delivery.

Working under the IPC planning manager, you will produce monthly reports, develop planning standards, and mentor direct reports, driving best practice and governance across the project while ensuring sensitive information remains protected.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques.
• Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement and construction methods in the UK.
• Ability to produce accurate, fully logic-linked construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Support the IPC lead planner in implementing and maintaining project controls processes for planning.
• Support senior project/programme managers.
• Produce monthly reports with intelligent information and analysis.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver project goals with HPC principles.
• Produce and maintain the IWS schedule in Primavera P6 with fully logic-linked plans.
• Ensure the IWS is updated to the defined timeframe.
• Assist in trend and change processes with analysis at project level.
• Identify, analyze and propose solutions to time-related issues.
• Coordinate and produce project-level schedule reports with commentary on drivers.
• Adhere to governance and scheduling standards.
• Protect sensitive nuclear information per EDF policies.
• Provide functional management and ensure direct reports comply with standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.
