Job summary

Amentum is recruiting a Planning Engineer to join the Central Controls Teams in the Planning Discipline for the Hinkley Point C project. You will manage the Level 2/4 Integrated Work Schedule (IWS) in Primavera P6, align Level 3 schedules, and deliver time-related data to support EDF Energy decisions.

You will assist in developing planning standards and drive central Planning activities, contributing to the timely and efficient delivery of the work scope while maintaining compliance with HPC

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• Professionally qualified with chartered status or equivalent.
• Experience in Scheduling within Project Controls on major construction projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 v7 and above.
• Knowledge of NEC/FIDIC contracts.
• Experience with schedule risk analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support the IPC Lead Planner in implementing Project Controls processes for Planning.
• Generate monthly reports with insightful information and analysis.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to meet HPC project goals.
• Produce and maintain the level 2/4 IWS baseline in Primavera P6.
• Ensure the IWS is updated within agreed timeframes.
• Support Trend & Change processes with performance indicators.
• Identify time-related issues and propose solutions.
• Coordinate project schedule reports with commentary on key drivers.
• Protect sensitive information according to EDF policies.
