Job summary

Mactech Energy Group is seeking a Construction Planner to join the PMO planning function supporting the Hinkley Point C project. You will manage onsite short-term installation activity planning, governance and integration with tier1 contracts, reporting progress to stakeholders.

You will develop detailed schedules, optimise sequences, coordinate multiple contractors, and ensure schedules align with the 16-week look-ahead and the IWS.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of programme progress and forecast planning.
• Understanding of planning methods, programming and progress monitoring.
• Knowledge of construction market, methods, plant, equipment and labour requirements.
• Basic understanding of estimating principles.
• Understanding NEC Alliance contracts and other HPC forms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrations, design, testing & commissioning of detailed construction schedules within the MEH phase.
• Coordinate construction activities with multiple contractors to de-clash planned works.
• Integrate construction works with HPC programmes to optimise planning.
• Manage and update schedule data in planning tools.
• Support 4D capability to improve safety, quality, cost, time and risk.
• Ensure schedules are produced, managed and maintained per planning procedures.
• Report site progress and inform stakeholders of schedule data.
