Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a Planning Coordinator to schedule engineering activities, ensure access, align resources, and manage risks to meet SLAs for PPM and reactive work.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, experience with CAFM/Maximo and Oracle, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. This hybrid role is office-based with one day from home, supporting UK infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with CAFM systems.
• Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role using internal systems and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hard services or facilities management (desirable).
• Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule jobs in line with timeframes set by the Demand Lead.
• Ensure all requirements are in place prior to job allocation, including site access, engineer skill sets, and necessary materials or spares.
• Identify and elevate any risks that may impact delivery timelines.
• Proactively resolve access or scheduling issues to avoid failed engineer visits.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to optimise engineer planning.
• Collaborate with the Demand Lead to ensure reactive works are raised and completed within SLA.
• Support the timely delivery of all PPM activities within the monthly timeframe.
• All PPM activities are planned and completed within the designated timeframe.
• Reactive works are completed within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain data quality in systems such as Maximo and Oracle.
• Produce and manage engineer work schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality forward planning to ensure all PPMs are completed within the month.
• Meet or exceed SLAs for attendance and job completion.
• Escalate outstanding or at-risk jobs and implement mitigation actions.
