Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Functional Specialist to join a multinational employer on a hybrid basis. The role uses your clinical knowledge as a Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic to assess for PIP and deliver unbiased, person-centred service.

You will manage end-to-end caseloads, conduct face-to-face, virtual and telephone assessments, and produce paper-based reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic with current registration.
• 1+ years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments for PIP.
• Manage caseloads end-to-end including reports (PBR).
• Assess health conditions and disabilities across physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive areas.
• Build time into rota for breaks, CPD, audits and team meetings.
