Job summary

Donard Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a Functional Specialist to join a hybrid, full-time team of clinicians conducting PIP assessments for a leading multinational employer.

You will manage end-to-end caseloads, delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone reviews and paper-based reports, with time built in for CPD, evidence review and team meetings. Essential registrations (NMC/HCPC) and post-qualification experience are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
• 1+ years post qualification experience.
• Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
• Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseloads from end to end including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper-based reports.
• Autonomy to manage cases to conclusion with greater variety in tasks.
• Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
• Include time in the rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, reviewing further evidence and team meetings.
