Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a People Relations Advisor to support managers and staff on a wide range of employee relations matters across the Trust. You will work with a Senior People Relations Advisor to manage caseloads, provide guidance on sickness absence, discipline, grievances and organisational change, and contribute to value-based employment practices.

The role is hybrid, based at Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in generalist HR including employee relations such as sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance and organisational change.
• Knowledge of current employment legislation and case law.
• CIPD qualification and membership or willingness to achieve

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice to managers on sickness absence management, wellbeing and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support investigations and participate in hearings as required.
• Advise on TUPE and changes in terms and conditions of service.
• Contribute to policy development and rollout across Care Groups.
