Job summary

The Health Foundation is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead HR policy development, training delivery, and operational support for the People Team. The role focuses on policy updates, employment-law compliance, and contributing to equity, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.

This 37.5-hour-per-week role operates on a hybrid basis with in-person days required. The post-holder collaborates with the People Business Partners and senior managers to drive effective people

Qualifications

• Review and update HR policies and guidance documents and create process maps to ensure they remain compliant with employment law and our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Provide expert HR support and guidance to key stakeholders on a range of HR matters including employee relations, flexible working, performance and sickness management.
• Collaborate to coach and develop senior managers to improve their people-management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review and update HR policies and guidance documents and create process maps to ensure they remain compliant with employment law and our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• As required, support the workload of the People Business Partners with HR guidance on a range of matters including employee relations, flexible working, performance and sickness management.
• Work with the People Business Partners to coach and develop senior managers to build their capability for informed people management decisions.
• Evaluate and improve internal HR operational processes, such as data management practices, and identify inefficiencies with current HR processes.
• Lead on the delivery of HR training workshops in conjunction with the People Business Partners and Heads of related teams.
