Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking two People Operations Advisers (Generalist HR) to provide expert advice and support to managers on complex employee relations, change management and organisational development across the County Council. The roles are hybrid, with one permanent contract and one fixed-term (2 years), and flexible working options may be discussed.

You will work with a People Business Partner and a team of advisers to respond to changing demand and deliver an excellent service

Qualifications

• Experience working in HR within a large, complex organisation.
• Experience advising managers on complex employee relations issues.
• Experience delivering and supporting change management projects including TUPE, redundancy, workforce design and organisational development.

Responsibilities

• Adopting a triage approach to employment relations issues to resolve them at the earliest opportunity.
• Providing advice, support and challenge on a wide range of complex Employment Relations activity.
• Interpreting and assessing current and future case and employment law to identify changes to policy and procedures.
• Supporting all change management activity.
• Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Collaborating with colleagues across people services to deliver excellent service to customers.
