Tunstall UKI is recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join our Financial Shared Services team at the Head Office in Whitley. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with flexible hybrid working.

You will help ensure inputs to monthly payroll are collated on time and accurately processed. The ideal candidate has payroll experience in a multi-entity organisation or a people-facing role, plus a proactive approach to issues and improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a computerised payroll system for a medium sized company, including PAYE, SMP, SPP and year end data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Proactive approach to issue resolution and process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Process new starters and leavers; manage overtime calculations and shift allowances.
• Handle pension adjustments, salary amendments, and statutory deductions.
• Prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports for review and approval.
• Support year-end activities and HMRC compliance with the Payroll Manager.
