Job summary

Portfolio Payroll are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded Accountancy Practice for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. This role offers genuine flexibility, hybrid working and a healthy work-life balance.

Key duties include end-to-end payroll processing, starters/leavers, statutory payments and HMRC submissions. You will work with SuperPay and provide excellent client service within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
• Experience processing multiple payrolls simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communication skills with both clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
• Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls.
• Administering starters, leavers and payroll changes.
• Calculating statutory payments and deductions.
• Submitting payroll data to HMRC accurately and on time.
• Handling client payroll queries and providing a high level of service.
• Using SuperPay payroll software.
