Job summary

Hoople Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant on a part-time basis (18.5 hours per week) in Hereford, with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves budgeting, forecasting and providing financial analysis to support Herefordshire Council’s Economy and Environment and Corporate Services directorates.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, forecasts, and year-end activities, while engaging with service managers to resolve financial challenges in a dynamic public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of setting budgets and forecasting for services.
• Ability to provide accurate financial analysis to service managers.
• Experience with public sector finance and compliance.
• Proven ability to engage with budget managers and stakeholders.
